Florida International University held a conference at the Modesto Maidique campus this past Friday to discuss how AI is changing the way we interact and work.
Tech experts, business leaders and students connected and conversed about solving real-world challenges like cybersecurity and safeguarding the future of our community.
Keynote speaker and FIU President Jeanette Nuñez shared how faculty and staff have embraced AI. She encouraged others to learn to integrate it rather than reject it.
“We want our leaders to use it, but to also challenge it and to ensure we manage those concerns people have with AI,” Nuñez said.
The conference also showcased NextGen, two four-legged robots, and a large heavy-duty drone.
