The Miami Design Preservation League hosted its 41st annual art deco fashion show with a blast from the past at Miami Beach.
The fashion show took places on Jan. 19 at Lummus Park between 12th and 13th streets at Ocean Drive.
Angela La Muse, who directed the show, said that thousands of spectators attended, and four designers had the opportunity to show their clothing lines. The ultimate goal was for the designers to include old-fashioned styles.
According to its website, the Miami Design Prevention League is a non-profit organization, founded in 1976, with the purpose to protect, preserve, and promote the traditions of Miami Beach.
