The Almost Famous podcast looks into the financial struggles, competition amongst artists and the uprising of artificial intelligence creations. We sat down with Brandon “CyberDread X” and Jamil A. to discuss AI in the music business. Both artists share how they use AI for marketing, branding and expanding their audience. Listen as they highlight how they embrace AI.

Brenda Miranda is a junior at Florida International University majoring in digital broadcasting & journalism. She’s passionate about reporting truth that inspires positive change and aims to report news through grassroot media platforms while connecting with major outlets like CNN and NBC. Miranda is committed to using her storytelling skills to highlight important issues and give a voice to underrepresented communities.

Stephanie Diaz is a junior majoring in broadcasting at Florida International University. Once she is done with her studies, she wishes to work in the entertainment industry.

Caroline Choquette is a junior at Florida International University who is passionate about journalism and media production. She is the Vice President of Community Relations for Alpha Omicron Pi where she oversees all social media platforms. She has developed strong skills in social media management and public relations by shaping the organization’s engagement. Choquette will graduate from the Lee Caplin School of Journalism & Media with a bachelor's degree in digital communication and media with a minor in business in Spring 2027.

Anthony Carter Jr. is a South Florida native and senior at Florida International University who likes to combine his passion for film and television with journalism to visually tell compelling stories.

Carter began his career in sports analytics in 2024 as a camera operator. He has experience in writing articles about the NBA, NFL, and MLB. Carter has also written feature articles covering health insurance and politics. He also tells stories through screenwriting and video production.

Carter has an associate's degree in film production technology. He will graduate from the Lee Caplin School of Journalism & Media with a bachelor’s degree in digital communication and media in Fall 2026.

V’Tilya Minnis is a junior at Florida International University who is interested in multimedia production and psychology. Minnis enjoys photography, fashion and creating social media content. She hopes to work as an editor, writer or marketing specialist in the future. Minnis will graduate from Lee Caplin School of Journalism & Media with a bachelor's degree in Digital Communications & Media with a minor in Psychology in Fall 2027.
