St. Louis mother rejoices after baby survives rare brain tumor (includes video story)

Emily Murray is celebrating her daughter Elizabeth’s survival from a rare brain tumor.

After being operated on at just five months old, Elizabeth survived the odds of a seven to twelve survival rate for the life-threatening congenital brain tumor.

Over the last few months, Elizabeth’s cognitive development, speech, and fine motor skills have skyrocketed.

“It really always felt like things were gonna be okay in a strange way, as dire as they actually were,” said Emily Murray.
