This past week marked the opening of The Berry Farm’s 6th annual Harvest Festival, bringing a seasonal taste. to Miami with hayrides, pumpkin patches and family-friendly activities. The festival has become a fall tradition in South Florida, and mixes community spirit with entertainment for all ages.
Families say the event offers much more than just pumpkin picking.
“This harvest festival has so many activities for children in a big open space for play and freedom running,” said Ashley Burman, a parent attending with her daughter. “My original thought was just for the fall season, pumpkin picking, but it’s been more.”
Employees also look forward to the season, with staff members enjoying the chance to welcome guests.
“I believe families keep coming back, because it’s that forever moment they want to keep making memories,” said assistant general manager Ozyras Silva.
With attractions, food and a break from Miami’s traditional urban landscape, The Berry Farm’s Harvest Festival will continue to mark the start of fall through Nov. 9. Visitors can purchase tickets online or at the farm, with weekday and weekend pricing options available.
