Hurricane Ian destroyed everything in its path after making landfall on Wednesday Sept. 28 Over 100 lives were lost and thousands of homes were completely ruined by the raging water and winds.
Ian was a Category 4 hurricane, but only a few miles per hour away from turning into a Category 5.
Dentists and Airbnb owners Marcela and Angel Newman had bought an apartment in Bonita Springs just last year.
Unfortunately, they will no longer be able to enjoy or rent their beautiful coastal apartment on the beach. They can’t even drive to it due to the collapsed bridges.
