Last month, Feid performed at the Hard Rock Stadium as the closing night of the North American leg of his Ferxxocalipsis tour. This night made history for Feid as his first sold-out stadium show, highlighting his growing influence and popularity.
Feid, whose real name is Salomón Villada Hoyos, is a Colombian reggaeton and Latin pop singer and songwriter. He started his career as a producer and songwriter, working with well-known artists like J Balvin and Christina Aguilera before launching his own solo career. His distinctive style has earned him a growing fanbase and several hits on the Latin music charts.
Feid has been nominated nine times for the Latin Grammys, including “Best urban music album” and “Best rap/hip hop song.”
The July 6 show was high energy — complete with Ferxxo’s signature green lights, mesmerizing visuals, and a setlist including hit songs such as “Chimbita,” “Bubalu,” and “Luna.” The crowd, a diverse mix of fans from different backgrounds, included 21-year-old Isabella Bruna and 20 year old Andrea Planas — both of their first time seeing Feid live.
Bruna, a Miami native of Costa Rican heritage, became a fan of Feid after his “Inter Shibuya” album in 2021. The concert, she noted, made her connection to Feid’s music even stronger.
“His live performance was incredible — almost identical to his recordings,” said Bruna. “I didn’t look at the setlist beforehand, but I was just excited to be surprised by his performances.”
Planas, a Miami native of Venezuelan heritage, became a fan of Feid recently through his collaborations with Bad Bunny and Young Miko.
“Attending the show has already made my connection to his music stronger,” said Planas. “I heard new songs and now they are all on repeat!”
The Ferxxocalipsis Tour is a testament to Feid’s growth as an artist and his ability to continually innovate. The tour’s name, a playful nod to his nickname “Ferxxo,” reflects the tour’s transformative theme. Each performance has been carefully curated to offer fans an experience combining music and storytelling. Feid’s genuine connection with his audience was palpable, making the night a memorable experience for all in attendance.
“Feid’s stage presence is iconic,” said Bruna. “It looked like he was having the time of his life while performing because he seems so grateful for what he has achieved.”
“Feid took the time to interact with his audience,” said Planas. “It made the show seem a lot more intimate.”
As the Ferxxocalipsis Tour continues to make its way across various cities, Feid shows no signs of slowing down. He remains committed to pushing the boundaries of his craft and exploring new creative avenues. Fans hope for more innovative music and exciting collaborations in the future. Feid’s night in Miami was more than just a concert — it was a celebration of music and the unbreakable bond between an artist and his fans.
“It was a very exciting time seeing Feid in Miami,” said Bruna. “Now, I hope to see people appreciate his music as much as I do.”
Feid performed in Madrid on on July 27. The tour next heads to Latin America, starting in Mexico City on Aug. 20. It will continue with stops in Honduras, Ecuador, Peru, Chile and Puerto Rico. December 8 will mark the tour finale in Feid’s hometown of Medellin, Colombia.
