Coronavirus Update: NFL season “feasible” for the fall, state guidelines for reopened parks

Today is Tuesday, May 12 and Dr. Anthony Fauci is testifying before a Senate committee about the country’s reopening. Fifty-four percent of Americans believe the U.S. government is doing a poor job handling the COVID-19 spread, according to the newest CNN poll.

Florida state parks have partially reopened. If you are heading outside for some fresh air, you must abide by guidelines specifically set for safety. The Florida Department of Environmental Protection has released safety updates and measures to follow when visiting any state park.

Major League Soccer (MLS) has proposed a 20 percent pay cut to players. The coronavirus pandemic has forced salary reduction from the soccer association.

Dr. Anthony Fauci said it is premature to determine whether the NFL season will take place as regularly scheduled. Although Dr. Fauci thinks it is “impossible” for football to happen right now, he thinks it’s feasible for the fall.
