In December 2023, Miami resident Leslie Nilsen circumnavigated the globe on a nine-month cruise alongside her longtime partner, Roy. Sailing for 274 nights, they visited 150 destinations while aboard Royal Caribbean’s Serenade of the Seas.
“This is our home away from home,” said Nilsen of the 179-square-foot cabin they stayed in.
The couple returned from their travels this September after visiting countries such as Antartica and China. She encourages others to take chances on new adventures that can create lasting memories.
