Crowds are picking up at Universal Studios in Orlando

The reopening of Universal Studios in Orlando has been bringing guests from all over the world. Shortly after being closed for three months, Universal set up proper protocols to reopen including a reduced capacity of about 35%.

The President of Universal Studios, Bill Davis, released a statement welcoming guests back and ensuring that their safety is a top priority. Universal is screening temperatures before guests enter the parks. Workers sanitize everything, especially high-touch surfaces, and allow space to practice social distancing. There are markers all around the park to remind guests to distance themselves from other parties.

Any guests with a temperature of 100.4 or higher is not allowed admission per Centers for Disease Control guidelines. Daniella Delgado recently visited the parks and noticed that Universal employees were constantly reminding everyone to always have their mask on.

Although reservations are not required to attend the theme parks, it is suggested guests plan in advance because the parks often reach maximum capacity. It is important to follow all these guidelines for the safety of all guests.
