Phin Tank: Preview the Dolphins’ first playoff since 2016

Skylar Thompson, Miami’s rookie third-string quarterback, managed to will his team to its first playoff berth in seven years with this post Sunday’s 11-6 victory over the New York Jets. The seventh-round pick will now have the daunting task of playing another division rival, but this time with much more at stake.

Our hosts give insight into how Thompson and the Dolphins can overcome several significant injuries and emerge victorious in a hostile Highmark Stadium. Miami will take on the second-seeded Bills, who helped the Dolphins reach the postseason with a 35-23 victory over the New England Patriots last Sunday. The team appears to be in much higher spirits now that their teammate, Damar Hamlin, has been released from the hospital. He suffered cardiac arrest on the field just two weeks ago.

Listeners will then receive each host’s score prediction for the contest and plans for the show as the season comes to an end. The Dolphins take on the Bills on Sunday at 1 p.m. The game will be broadcast on CBS4 in South Florida.
