Doral Central Park Farmers Market showcases local vendors (includes video story)

Every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. until March 28, the Doral Central Park Farmers Market becomes a place for locals and families to spend their day.

The market offers a variety of foods, crafts, jewelry, fresh drinks and organic products as vendors showcase their work and get to know their community.

But it’s for more than just shopping; it’s a place for the community to come together to support local businesses and enjoy live entertainment. A great experience for all ages, the market continues to provide locals with a unique and wonderful time.

“As you start to sell to more and more of your customers, you start to know them personally, you start to know them by face as they’re walking by, you start to know them by name,” said Kasha Smith, owner of KandleS. “It doesn’t feel so much as a consumer, but now we’re family and friends.”
