Duck World waddles onto South Beach (includes video story)

Duck World recently opened a new location in South Beach, bringing a splash of color and childhood nostalgia to the community. With over 800 designer rubber ducks, the store offers everything from glittery divas to holiday, superhero and food-themed designs.

The concept for Duck World started with Fillip Perkon and his business partner Irene Fedotova in London, who were forced to rethink their path when the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Wanting to create something joyful and unique, they turned to Fedotova’s lifelong passion for rubber ducks. Her quirky collection became the foundation for what would become their first store in London.

The South Beach shop marks Duck World’s first U.S. location, continuing the brand’s mission to bring light-hearted fun into everyday life. Unlike interactive exhibits or pop-ups, it showcases shelves lined with hundreds of colorful and creative ducks.

“Miami was the perfect place for our first U.S. location,” said Perkon. “This city is all about sun, beaches, and joy and that’s exactly what Duck World represents.”
