FIU celebrates women’s soccer seniors in 1-1 draw against Missouri State (includes video story)

Florida International University’s women’s soccer team wrapped up its regular season this past Sunday with a 1-1 draw against Missouri State.

The match also marked senior day, giving several upperclassmen a chance to celebrate their college careers before moving on to the next chapter.

Players walked the field with their families, where they received a plaque with their jersey and thanked their team and their families for their support.

“As a dad, I couldn’t be more proud of my baby girl,” said Stephan Jackson, the father of defender Zora Jackson.

FIU will play Middle Tennessee State University in the 2025 Conference USA Women’s Soccer Championship on Nov. 2.

Marcus Cleophat is studying digital media in the broadcasting track. His goal is to be a play-by-play commentator for track and field.
