Florida man revived after being dead for nearly an hour (includes video story)

A Florida man experienced an extraordinary moment that have answered the age-old question: What happens when we die?

William Bacelieri was revived last week after being dead for nearly an hour at a hospital in Daytona Beach.

“Of course it would change your look on life,” Bacelieri said. “This doesn’t happen every day.”

Bacelieri checked in to AdventHealth last week after experiencing chest pains. During the visit, he went into cardiac arrest three times. Doctors and nurses compressed his heart, but the Air Force special operations veteran and recent cancer survivor said he had a dream.

“I showed up in the jungle,” Bacelieri said. “And there were vines on this gold wall when this huge tiger imprinted its face into the wall, and I could feel a force of wind.”

Doctors told Kathy Bacelieri, William’s wife, to be prepared for possible brain damge. But when Bacelieri woke up, he was alert and conscious.

Nurses taking care of Bacelieri say they will never forget him. The cancer survivor hopes to return home by Friday.
