Florida Panthers fans celebrate a Stanley Cup Parade after 30 years (includes video story)

The Florida Panthers hosted a Stanley Cup Parade 30 years in the making yesterday on Fort Lauderdale Beach.

Drenched in rain with thunder roaring from the skies, Cats fans celebrated the historic moment.

The large attendance cemented the answer that Florida fans give when asked if they live in a hockey state.

“I watch national [tv] and they don’t even understand why we have hockey teams,” said lifelong fan Ross Milligan. “It’s like what are you talking about? They don’t know…but we do.”
