The 34th annual Florida Renaissance Festival returned to Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach, drawing families and visitors for a weekend of live entertainment, themed attractions and medieval-inspired performances.
The festival, which kicked off on Feb. 7, features eight themed weekends with daily jousting tournaments, live music, craft demonstrations and a parade through the festival grounds.
Organizers say the long-running event continues to serve as a gathering place for the community.
“There’s a magic and a community to this place that’s truly wonderful,” said artisitc director Christopher Leidenfrost. “I think especially after COVID, so many people were looking for more activities to do with their family that was outdoors, not inside.”
The festival runs through March 29 and is held only on Saturdays and Sundays, featuring entertainment and activities for all ages. For more information, check out their website.
