The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show flooded the Broward County Convention Center and surrounding docks from Oct. 20 to Nov. 2, showcasing displays of boats, engines and marine technologies for buyers and boating enthusiasts.
The annual event featured an outdoor component where seafarers could see boats on the water, ranging from standard center console craft to large catamarans and huge yachts.
“This is what we live, breathe, eat and sleep,” said Shaun Peters, a sales representative for Marine Technology Inc. “Boating is in our blood, and it’s a cool experience.”
Performance boats fans can head to Key West for the Offshore World Championships, running from Nov. 5 -9. For those more interested in variety than speed, the Miami Boat Show returns to the Miami Beach Convention Center in February.
