The Fort Lauderdale United FC women’s soccer team is taking the United Super League (USL) by storm. It is currently in second place, and players are making a lasting impact in their community off the field.
Players serve as role models for young girls and aspiring athletes, proving that soccer is more than just a sport—it’s a platform for empowerment and inspiration.
“It means a lot to have them come here and look up to us,” said United FC star forward Jasmine Hamid.
The team faced off against in-state rivals Tampa Bay Sun FC on March 8 in a highly anticipated game that ended in a hard-fought tie. All games are featured on Peacock. Fort Lauderdale United FC’s next home game will be at Beyond Bancard Field on the Nova Southeastern University campus in Davie against Spokane Zephyr FC on March 22.
