On Saturday, the Frost Science Museum hosted Technology and Engineering Day, bringing together local engineers from colleges and organizations to showcase their innovations. Interactive booths allowed attendees to engage with new technologies in a hands-on way, making engineering concepts exciting and accessible. The event aimed to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers.
Each booth featured activities that demonstrated cutting-edge technology in a fun and immersive way. Guests experimented with different innovations, gaining insight into how engineering shapes the world. The event encouraged creative thinking about real-world solutions, particularly in climate technology and sustainability.
“The main goal is to expose our museum guests and the Miami community to emerging technologies,” said Analisa Duran, director of education at the Frost Science Museum. “Tech and Engineering Day is a great way to experience different technologies and types of engineering.”
The event was part of National Engineers Week and was supported by the ClimateReady Tech Hub. Free with paid museum admission, it offered an engaging experience for visitors while encouraging them to explore the future of technology and engineering.
