Authorities investigating the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, the mother of NBC “Today” show anchor Savannah Guthrie, say they have uncovered a troubling development.
According to law enforcement sources familiar with the investigation, a note believed to have been sent by Guthrie’s kidnappers claims she died shortly after being abducted. The message was reportedly sent to media outlets in February following her disappearance.
