Formula E returned to Miami Saturday for the Miami E-Prix at Hard Rock Stadium, marking the championship’s first race at the venue. The electric series first raced in downtown Miami in 2015 on the Biscayne Bay Street Circuit, then went into a decade-long absence, returning in 2025 at Homestead-Miami Speedway and continuing its renewed presence in South Florida this season.
Rain played a major role in the race, creating slippery conditions that tested drivers across the grid. Jaguar TCS Racing’s Mitch Evans claimed his first win of the season, while Porsche drivers Nico Müller and Pascal Wehrlein finished second and third.
Fans embraced the unpredictable conditions, many staying through the rain to experience Formula E up close.
Adrien, attending his first Formula E race, said the weather only added to the excitement.
“It’s rare to have rain races, and I’m excited,” Adrien said. “I’m willing to bear out the rain if it means it’s a more interesting race.”
