Toy Story 5 premieres in Los Angeles & Brings out a pecial Guest
The stars of “Toy Story 5” gathered in Los Angeles for the film’s highly anticipated premiere one June 19.
Cast members celebrated the latest chapter of Pixar’s beloved franchise, including Woody himself, Tom Hanks.
“These movies are really about deep, long-lasting friendships, and how adversity comes along, but everybody gets together and helps the other person out when they need a hand,” said Hanks.
The event also featured a surprise appearance from Taylor Swift, who performed her new song from the “Toy Story 5” soundtrack, “I Knew It, I Knew You,” before joining Randy Newman for a special performance of “You’ve got a friend in me.”
Holocaust Museum in Tampa offering free admission amid Kanye West shows
The Florida Holocaust Museum in Tampa is offering free admission during Kanye West’s upcoming shows there on June 26 and 28.
Museum leaders say the initiative is intended to educate visitors in response to the rapper’s past anti-semitic remarks.
The announcement comes as criticism surrounding West’s scheduled performances at Raymond James Stadium continues to grow.
Horror Films topping the box office and new thriller coming up
The horror genre continues to dominate the box office, with low-budget sensations “Backrooms” and “Obsession” having each surpassed $200 million worldwide, proving audiences still have the appetite for scares.
Speaking of horror, “Scary Movie 6” also delivered a big opening weekend, earning $55 million and returning the horror parody-series to the top of the box office.
Another spooky release: Steven Spielberg’s new sci-fi thriller “Disclosure Day” starring Emily Blunt.
