Fans packed the tailgate before the College Football Playoff National Championship on Monday, turning parking lots into a full-scale celebration with music, barbecues, games and team colors on full display.
“It’s unbelievable,” said Hoosier fan Michael Feldman. “I don’t think anybody ever expected it, especially from my class. We’re just grateful to be here.”
Inside the stadium, Miami was just short of a championship win, falling 27–21 to Indiana. Still, for fans outside the gates, the day was about more than the scoreboard — it was a chance to celebrate, connect, and be part of a moment they won’t forget.
