Hyundai Air and Sea Show returns to South Beach (includes video story)

This Memorial Day weekend was made unforgettable for the residents of South Beach with the return of the Hyundai Air and Sea Show, which showcased America’s military might.

The formation of planes in the show had never been seen before. It included three bomber aircraft, the B-52, B-2 and B-1, and four fighter aircraft, the A-10, F-22, F-15 and F-16.

“You’re getting a showcase that you’re not getting anywhere else in the world right now,” explained Capt. Michael Miller, pilot of the B-52. “[There are] aircraft that are coming together for these type of formations that you just don’t see at other air shows.”

The air and sea show occurred on May 24 and 25, and will return to South Beach next Memorial Day.
