After graduating from high school, Shanna Charite decided to turn her passion for beauty into ICraveLashes LLC, a successful lash-technician business in Miami Gardens, FL.
Through the power of social media and word of mouth, Charite built a popular brand name and a sufficient stream of income. Since launching her business in June 2021, Charite generated enough money to allow her to meet Miami’s high living costs.
At the age of 18, Charite was able to save enough money to move out of her family home and into her own apartment.
Although she makes enough money to live on her own, Charite is always on the lookout for a new business venture to explore. Along with her lash venture, Charite has opened a fashion business.
“You should never rely on one income,” said Charite. “I think it is important to be curious and open-minded because you never know what opportunities will come your way.”
