International Hispanic Theater Festival lights up Miami-Dade’s Koubek Center (includes video story)

Families gathered at Miami Dade College’s Koubek Center on West Flagler Street for the 38th International Hispanic Theater Festival. They celebrated International Children’s Day.

Children immersed themselves in a day of creativity and sensory exploration with different activities and a puppet play titled “Peneque, Always Brave,” which highlighted family ties.

“My favorite part is that people stay from beginning to end,” said Melissa Sulan, director of the Koubek Center.

Additionally, the Producciones Infantiles group announced an upcoming tour in Spain.
