Jane Leavy talks at Books & Books

In 2018, Jane Leavy’s “The Big Fella, Babe Ruth and the World He Created” was published by Harper Collins and became a New York Times Bestseller. After almost a full year the book still ranks 26th on Amazon for sports biographies. In addition, she is the author of best-selling biographies of Sandy Koufax and Mickey Mantle. Leavy will be giving a talk about baseball at Books & Books in Coral Gables, Florida on Sept. 28, 2019, at 7p.m. Books & Books is located at 265 Aragon Ave, Coral Gables, FL.

Michael Garcia is currently a journalism major at Florida International University (FIU) in his senior year. He is the Vice President and co-founder of the Modern Sports Media Group LLC. In addition to behind the scenes and everyday management of Modern Sports Media Group, he is the co-host of the Nothin’ But Net show and The Get in The Box podcast, both of which are Modern Sports Media productions. Sports are his biggest focus and a large reason for selecting his FIU major and career path.
