John Martin’s, a cherished Irish pub in Coral Gables, once again brought the St. Patrick’s Day spirit to South Florida with its long-running festival.

The venue on Miracle Mile has been a hub for Irish culture for decades, offering a lively atmosphere filled with traditional meals and live bands playing Celtic tunes. Attendees of all ages gathered to enjoy the festivities, which took place a day before today’s holiday, embracing the vibrant energy and community spirit that have made this event a local favorite.

With thousands of people filling the streets, safety was a top priority for organizers and law enforcement. Coral Gables Police maintained a strong presence throughout the festival, ensuring a secure and orderly environment. Officers were stationed along key areas to manage the large crowds and maintain a smooth flow of activities. Their efforts helped create a family-friendly atmosphere where attendees could celebrate worry-free.

Beside the music and dancing, the festival offered various entertainment options for all ages. Families enjoyed interactive activities and games while vendors lined the streets selling Irish-themed merchandise, from handmade crafts to festive apparel. The event allowed locals and visitors to immerse themselves in Irish traditions, strengthening cultural appreciation in the community.

“I love when they all get together and do a community event,” said festival attendee Mariana Martinez. “St Patrick’s Day is the perfect day to come together and just all have fun.”
