Latin Grammy winner Jorge Glem brings Latin Fusion to Doral (includes video story)

Jorge Glem, a Latin Grammy winner and remarkable artist was born on August 28, 1982 in Barquisimeto. Glem’s inventive compositions and passionate performances have captured the attention of listeners worldwide, demonstrating his great dedication to both maintaining and modernizing Venezuelan musical history.

One of the most important instruments in Venezuelan folklore music is the cuatro, or cuatro venezolano, which Glem has mastered. It is a little, four-stringed instrument that is often used for strumming.

His musical journey encompasses a rich tapestry of styles, showcasing his exceptional versatility and skill. He displays his cuatro skills across a wide range of genres, including Venezuelan Music, Tango, Cumbia and many more.

He has captivated audiences worldwide and recently performed in a Latin Fusion concert at El Mani Restaurant & Salsa, located at 1200 NW 78th Ave. in Doral.

Ana Paula Mayorga, born and raised in Venezuela, is an FIU Alumni with a degree in  Communications Broadcast Media and a minor in Business Marketing. She currently works as a content creator and spokesperson for brands in the beauty industry. Mayorga hopes to work as a TV host for live entertainment shows.
