Jungle Island’s “Luminosa” lights up Miami (includes video story)

From November 14 until March 7, Jungle Island’s “Luminosa: World of Enchantment” brings culture and beauty into the heart of Miami with lights and colors.

The hundreds of larger-than-life, towering light sculptures are displayed all along the walking trails and even next to animal habitats. Most lemurs, birds, and goats are sleeping, but you may catch one having a nighttime snack before bed.

“I’m enjoying myself tremendously,” said St. Rose, an attendee from New York. “I appreciate the artistry that went into it, all the work. We’re just walking through in an hour. Imagine the amount of time it took to create this. Bring someone that you love, hold their hands, and walk through the gardens.”
