Kansas City Chiefs star Marquise Brown inspires youth at annual football camp (includes video story)

On July 12, NFL wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown returned to his hometown to host his annual youth football camp bringing energy, mentorship and hope to dozens of kids at the Hollywood Police Athletic League.

The free camp gave local youth a chance to run drills, sharpen their skills and hear directly from the Kansas City Chiefs star about chasing goals on and off the field. He also held a food drive and donated book bags filled with school supplies.

For Brown, it’s about more than just football-it’s about giving back to the city that shaped him.

“Everyone looks forward to it, you know, having a good time for the kids-an outlet-and being a source for them,” Brown said. “And that’s really what I look forward to do.”

From autographs to end zone sprints, the day served as a powerful reminder that sometimes the biggest impact comes from simply showing up for the next generation.
