In a Minneapolis suburb, loved ones are mourning the killing of 20-year-old Daunte Wright, who was killed by police during a traffic stop.
“He loved his son,” said partner Chyna Whitaker while holding their crying 1-year-old son Daunte Jr. “That’s not fair that his son can’t have his father in his life.”
Brooklyn Center police officer Kim Potter, who’s been on the force for over 26 years, allegedly grabbed for her gun instead of her taser and accidentally shot Wright. She resigned on Tuesday along with the suburb’s police chief.
