Latin Grammys 2024 brings the spice to the Kaseya Center (includes video story)

The 25th Annual Latin Grammy Awards brought the passion and talent of Latin music to Miami for an unforgettable celebration.

Hosted at the Kaseya Center this past Thursday, the event featured genres like bachata, salsa, pop, and reggaeton and saw artists like Becky G, David Bisbal and Marc Anthony walk the red carpet.

Colombian singer Carlos Vives won the Person of the Year award while songwriter Edgar Barrera was the most nominated artist, totaling in at nine.

“It is an incredible occasion to celebrate all music, Latin culture, and the union of various genres,” said Veronica Gonzalez, an audience member.

Sara Mercedes is an International Business Administration senior working toward obtaining a position in a global news organization by integrating the communications and media skills she obtained at CARTA with knowledge from her business degree. Her dream would be to land a job in a destination she has not lived in before, like South Africa or Los Angeles. She spends her free time trying new things, preferably outside her comfort zone, be it a sport or intellectual field.
