What do people look for when they choose a Medicare plan? Seniors all over the country face high copays and limited coverage benefits from their provider networks, and with new reforms shaping the way plans cover costs, beneficiaries need to understand their plan options.

There are limitations on prescription drug out-of-pocket costs, so Medicare Advantage plan members like Rufus Orindare, who suffers from chronic conditions, can afford their medications.

Medicare nutritionist Jaquelyn Gibson, and Senior Planet — an AARP benefit — on the resources they provide to Medicare seniors in the Miami community.

Medicare Advantage plans include additional benefits that help manage costs, incorporate service utilization tools, and access to prescription drug plans. They are held accountable for delivering high-quality healthcare and protecting beneficiaries from paying high-cost deductibles and copays.
