Mafe Navas is a bilingual journalist at Florida International University who specializes in photography and graphic design. Navas enjoys writing, discussing photography, and exploring new techniques in graphic design. She hopes to work in the news industry as a producer in the future. Navas has an associate of the arts degree in communication from Broward College and will graduate with a bachelor’s degree from the Lee Caplin School of Journalism & Media in digital communication and media in Fall 2024.
Norma Flores is a Salvadoran bilingual journalist at Florida International University who is interested in broadcast journalism and international relations. Flores hopes to become a producer, presenter, correspondent or diplomat in the future. She will graduate with a bachelor’s degree from the Lee Caplin School of Journalism & Media in digital media and communication with a minor in international relations in Spring 2025.
Anthony Vieites is a senior at Florida International University who’s interested in content creation of all forms of multimedia production. Vieites enjoys surfing, photography and creating stories through film and wants to make an impact. He is interested in working in entertainment and working with or starting his own media production company. Vieites will graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Digital TV+Multimedia Production in Spring 2025 from the Lee Caplin School of Journalism.
Carlos Medina is a senior at Florida International University who hopes to become a Real Estate agent and have a podcast about sports with his friends. Medina enjoys discussing sports with his friends, and also learning the new aspects of media. He is interested in podcasting because he likes discussing with other people and having great talks. Medina will graduate with a bachelor’s degree from Lee Caplin School of Journalism & Media in Digital TV+Media in Spring 2025.
