Miami Art Week gathers artists from around the world to celebrate the creative community and sell their work. One of the many fairs staged during the week is Design Miami, which celebrates a tomorrow of our own creation on land near the western end of the Venetian Causeway.
A collection of abstract shapes, modern house layouts, and sculptures filled the Design Miami hall as guests walked from one aisle to the next
“It’s a great opportunity for Miami to showcase its architecture, local artists, and also artists from around the country,” said Esteban Betancourt, a Miami native who one day hopes to have his art featured during art week.
Design Miami is not the only fair opening this weekend. There’s a colorful array of exhibits all around the city including the main fair at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
