Miami Book Fair celebrates 41 years of bringing authors and readers together (includes video story)

This past week, the 41st Miami Book Fair brought together authors, publishers and readers from around the world to celebrate literature and creativity for.

Hosted at the Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus in Downtown from Nov. 17 through Nov. 24, the fair showcased diverse stories and voices, highlighted the profound connection between writers and their audiences, and featured varying events, from book signings to live panels.

“Writing is very integrated with who I am,” said AJ Bermudez, an award-winning author and director who was in attendance. “For me, it’s such a communicative and often collaborative medium.” 

Paola Sirignano is a Junior majoring in Digital Interactive Media. After graduating, she wants to pursue a career in entertainment media, allowing her to spread information regarding the latest in pop culture and cover the greatest events in music, film, TV, and even fashion.
