The Miami Hurricanes lost, but fans are philosophical (includes video story)

Fans packed Grails, a popular sports bar in Wynwood, on Monday night for a high-energy watch party as the University of Miami Hurricanes took on the Indiana Hoosiers in the College Football Playoff National Championship.

Though the game was played at Hard Rock Stadium, Grails was filled wall-to-wall with orange and green as well as a little bit of Hoosier red. Supporters reacted to every drive, big play, and late-game moment, staying engaged through the final whistle of Indiana’s 27–21 win.

University of Miami fan Paul Crews was philosophical at the end and content with his team’s result.

“This was a tough loss,” said Crews. “We went beyond what people expected. I feel like the program is going in a good direction.”
