On March 15, the Miami Sharks faced the Utah Warriors in their latest matchup at Chase Stadium. But outside the stadium, fans got a candlelight show complete with an orchestra.
The event brought in both longtime rugby supporters and newcomers.
“I was surprised with how many people there were honestly,” said Ricardo Urrusuno, who attended his first-ever rugby game.
With events like this, the Sharks are finding new ways to bring more attention to the team and the sport in South Florida.
