Miami Swim Week opens in style on South Beach (includes video story)

Miami Swim Week 2025 kicked off Wednesday night at Mondrian South Beach, blending high fashion with a mission to give back. Now in its 11th year, the event draws designers, models and influencers from around the world.

Opening night featured a runway show by designer Ema Savahl. More than 150 designers will participate throughout the week, with events scheduled across Miami Beach.

This year, the event partnered with the Little Lighthouse Foundation, which supports underserved children and families in South Florida.

“We have 10 children opening the show with 10 Little Lighthouse influencers,” said Jonathan Babicka, CEO of Little Lighthouse Foundation.

By blending fashion with purpose, Miami Swim Week continues to make its mark on and off the runway. Shows, panels and other events will continue through June 1.
