While famous for their events in huge venues like Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium, Monster Jam also has a long history with arena events. Earlier this month, that history arrived at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise.
“To put on an equally as good show in a small spot is not easy,” said Tyler Menninga, driver of the legendary Grave Digger and champion of this year’s Stadium Championship Series East tour which had a spot at Loan Depot Park earlier this year. “We may not get the big air, we might not get the crazy crazy tricks, but trick-wise, it takes more skill to drive an arena than it does a stadium.”
Menninga won all three events in Sunrise.
Monster Jam will return to the Amerant Bank Arena in 2025. No date has been set for the event.
