The Renegade Monster Truck Tour stopped in Maine and erupted into chaos after one contestant clipped an aerial power line, bringing down several utility poles into the crowd and sending two people to the hospital.
“It just took him down like a ton of bricks,” says Kayla Rench, who attended the show and watched a man get injured from falling utility equipment. “He didn’t even see it coming. And then, of course, there’s live wires so people can’t do anything.”
Police reported that several others were treated for minor injuries on-scene. The driver of the truck was not injured.
The tour promoter for the show has not made any comments regarding the accident or victims involved.
