Museum of Ice Cream opens up permanent Miami location (includes video story)

Ready to scream for ice cream? What was once a pop-up in 2017 now is the grand opening of the Museum of Ice Cream, which opened Downtown Miami in the Miami Worldcenter.

Manish Vora and MaryEllis Bunn, founders of the Museum of Ice cream, created the idea in Manhattan in 2016. The purpose of the museum was to inspire human connection and energize the senses to reimagine the way we experience and love ice cream.

The museum is 14,000 square feet with two floors of interactive ice cream installation and history of ice cream. The museum provides unlimited ice cream, 14 interacted playscapes, exclusive sweet treats, world sprinkle pool, café and a retail store.

“No matter what room you walk into here, you are going to experience something awesome,” said James McQuade, the director of food & beverage of the Museum of Ice Cream. “You can see the history and science and the love and growth of ice cream as it has grown through the evolution.”
