The Washington, D.C. history conference is in its 48th year of celebrating every aspect of the past of our nation’s capital, from the arts to music to culture and more.
The conference, which concluded earlier this month, was a three-day event held at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library. It included more than 25 in-person and hybrid lectures.
Those attending experienced lectures on the history of D.C. hip-hop, the hand dance, and the infamous DC statehood debate.
