NATPE Global and Realscreen Summit brings together television and streaming (includes video story)

During a three-day event that concluded this past Friday at the Miami Intercontinental Hotel, media industry executives from major streaming services and television came together to speak, network and develop new ideas for their audiences.

Created in 1963, the National Associations of Television Program Executives facilitate content buying, production and distribution through global market events. At this event are leaders from Amazon Prime Video, CNN, Fox, Sony and more.

The NATPE Global and Realscreen Summit addressed issues and challenges surrounding the streaming business and a mentorship program for mid-level executives of color in programming and production.

Author Tony Robbins, reality TV producer Cris Abrego and Amazon Prime Video Vice President Kelly Day were some of the speakers at the summit.

Liliam Hernández, founder of the Worldwide Audiovisual Women’s Association (WAWA), was one of the organizations that held a showcase at NATPE.

“We are very happy and grateful about this great organization that grows every single day,” said Hernández. “We realized how much effort we put in our vision and our mission.”
