A shopping mall in Doral becomes the home for a new art installation involving umbrellas that look like sunflowers.
The design was created by Artistic Elves, a decoration company previously approached by CityPlace Doral in 2021 for their holiday decor. Artistic Elves was inspired to recreate the artwork after seeing the display all around the world.
The sunflower umbrellas, which float over the plaza, have gained popularity due to viral content shared on social media.
The colorful and vibrant installation features 1,300 umbrellas. This pop-up experience will be available for visitors until June 30, 2024.
