Protesters gathered across the nation this past Saturday to voice their opposition to the Trump administration’s tariffs on imported goods from countries around the world, the war in Iran and battle against immigration.
In Miami Dade County, scores gathered on Calle Ocho and in Tropical Park.
In Little Havana’s Domino Park, protesters carried signs, waved flags, and one woman even wore a T-shirt depicting Donald Trump with his arm around deceased, convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
“It’s ridiculous,” said protester Denise Fong Choy, who carried a sign saying ‘No Lies, No Hate, No Cruelty, No Kings’. “He’s got the tariffs going, and at the same time, he’s got a war going, snatching people off the street. It’s horrible, just horrible.”
