Three people including a nine-year-old girl and a television reporter were killed on Wednesday near Orlando.
According to Orange County Sheriff John Mina, suspect Keith Melvin Moses, 19, shot an unidentified woman in her 20s at 11 a.m. on Hialeah Street in Pine Hill.
Around 4:05 p.m. Moses returned not the scene and shot Spectrum News photographer Jesse Walden and killed reporter Dylan Lyons.
The suspect then allegedly entered a home nearby on Harrington Street, where he shot a mother and her daughter, who died later from the gunshot wounds. Authorities say it is unclear why the suspect entered the home and declined to identify the victims.
Moses has a lengthy criminal record that includes gun charges and aggravated assault. Authorities have arrested the 19-year-old suspect and charged him with murder.
“Not a mother, not a nine-year-old and certainly not news professionals should become the victim of gun violence in our community,” said Mina.
