Phi Alpha Delta travels to Washington, D.C. for trial competition (includes video story)

Members of the Florida International University chapter of  Phi Alpha Delta, a law fraternity, will travel to Washington next week to compete against others around the country.

Phi Alpha Delta (PAD) was established in 1902 and takes pride in being a professional fraternity for college students planning to pursue a career in law.

The fraternity’s members participate in events throughout the year, but this annual competition provides students with trial preparation, practice, and experience facing opposing counsel. The convention helps them prepare for the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) by hosting speakers, workshops, and other events.

FIU’s Phi Alpha Delta chapter advisor Juan Saiz explains; “We prepare these kids for what their life is gonna be.”
